Produced entirely in magnum format and limited to just five barrels, The Approach is a passion project from vintner Dan Kosta and winemaker Shane Finley. Every element—from vineyard selection to final blending—was approached with a singular objective: to create the best possible expression from the sites and components available, without concession to scale or convention.

“The Approach represents the best blend we can make from these sites—the best wine we can create,” Kosta explains. Widely regarded as a winemaker’s wine, the 2023 vintage stands as a precise, expressive, and age-worthy result of passion meeting discipline.
